I Am Young Power (YP) sees a world where every young leader, especially those aged 6 to 28, embraces their individuality, communicates with excellence, utilizes technology for positive transformation, flourishes as entrepreneurs, and enthusiastically contributes to their communities, catalyzing a transformative global impact.
The voice of younger generations are often silenced or encouraged to remain silent until addressed, when in actuality they have significant roles to play in the success of their communities and the world.
I Am Young Power aims to provide a safe space for the cultivation and maturation of the voice of young leaders to result in young impactful global leaders starting with the discovering, embracing and nurturing of their gifts, talents and interests.
Mission partners with organizations throughout sub-Saharan Africa to find and determine communities and schools in need of educational supplies.
Our volunteers and local partners across the United States organize book and educational resource supply drives and raise the funds required to ship supplies overseas.
We ship all supplies to our overseas partners who then distribute to designated communities and schools.
Young leaders age(s) 6 to 28 are welcomed to join as a new YP Leader / Member.
Ages beyond 28 years can join as a volunteer, apply to become a mentor or inquire to become a sponsor.
We also welcome organizations and corporations who desire to align with our vision to improve their local community through donations, strategic collaborations and program sponsorships.
